Early Calling and Ministry Journey

The calling to ministry began in 1984, when God clearly impressed upon the heart of the founder a deep burden for prayer, worship, and the teaching of His Word. This divine calling marked the beginning of a lifelong commitment to serving God and His people through faithful obedience and spiritual leadership.

In 1987, this calling took practical expression with the establishment of the founder’s first Christian fellowship in Ile-Ife, Nigeria. The fellowship served as a nurturing ground for believers seeking spiritual growth, prayerful living, and sound biblical teaching.

Theological Training and Spiritual Development

In pursuit of deeper understanding and preparation for ministry, the founder enrolled in seminary training in 1993, followed by the completion of a Diploma in Theology in 1995. This period of formal theological education strengthened the foundation for teaching Scripture with accuracy, balance, and spiritual insight.

Alongside academic training, the founder gained hands-on ministerial experience while serving as a minister’s assistant at Christ Apostolic Church, Lagos, where practical ministry skills, pastoral care, and church leadership were further developed. This season of service played a significant role in shaping a ministry rooted in humility, discipline, and faithfulness.

The founder later earned a Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.), further equipping the ministry with sound doctrine and biblical depth.

Birth of Resolution Prayer Ministry International

In 2004, after years of prayer, preparation, and service, Resolution Prayer Ministry International was officially founded in Lagos, Nigeria. The ministry was established with a clear mandate:

To glorify God through worship and prayer, to minister the Word of God boldly and accurately, and to raise believers who are spiritually grounded and committed to Christ.

Since its inception, the ministry has remained focused on prayer-driven gatherings, biblical teaching, discipleship, and fellowship. The emphasis has always been on spiritual growth, obedience to God’s Word, and unity within the body of Christ.

Global Vision and Prayer Retreats

Resolution Prayer Ministry International extends beyond local gatherings through strategic prayer retreats and worship programs held in Nigeria, the United States, and Coton. These retreats are designed to create an atmosphere for spiritual renewal, focused prayer, worship, and teaching, in alignment with Acts 2:42 and the teachings of Holy Scripture.

The ministry continues to reach individuals and families across nations, fostering a global community united by faith, prayer, and devotion to Jesus Christ.

Today, Resolution Prayer Ministry International remains committed to its founding vision—raising believers who are prayerful, biblically grounded, and spiritually mature, while reaching the world with the good news of Jesus Christ.
